Itinerary
Your winter journey begins from Rishikesh. En route, witness the sacred confluence points of Panch Prayag and visit Dhari Devi Temple. Arrive in Auli by evening, check into your cozy mountain stay, and enjoy dinner overlooking the snow-covered peaks.
Wake up to mesmerizing sunrise views of Nanda Devi and Dronagiri. Get ready for adventure — Zipline, ATV Ride, Reverse Bungee, and a 6 km round-trip hike to Gorson Bugyal. Enjoy breathtaking Himalayan panoramas of Hathi-Ghoda, Brahmal, Neelgiri, and more.
After breakfast, move towards the trans-Himalayan belt in a 4×4 SUV. Explore the picturesque villages of Malari, Sumna, and Tapovan — home to frozen waterfalls, icy rivers, and the elusive Snow Leopard. Visit Sumna, often called the Grand Canyon of India, and the legendary point where Lord Hanuman lifted the Sanjeevni herb during the Ramayana.
Start early for a visit to the Frozen Shiva Temple (Niti Mahadev). Hike 4 km to Payaar for panoramic views of a Zanskar-like valley surrounded by snow deserts. Spend your evening exploring local Himalayan life in Ghamsali Village.
After breakfast, drive back through scenic valleys toward Rishikesh. Carry home memories, photos, and the soul of an unforgettable Uttarakhand winter trip.
