“Finding Shiva” – Beyond Life and Death - Adi Kailash the Home of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati. Adi Kailash is one of the Panch Kailash according to Hindu Mythology. Om Parvat and Adi Kailash are considered as very sacred place in Hinduism. Just a darshan of it can make your inner self enlightened and cleansed. It is believed that the cosmic energy that is prevalent here can transform a person. It is the land of tranquillity and serenity. The demon king Ravana meditated here and was blessed by Almighty Shiva with the strength of 20 arms and brains of 10 heads. According to the legends, there are only eight mountains in India, which has an impression of OM symbol. Out of these eight, only one has been discovered, which is known as Om Parvat or Adi Kailash. This magical mountain, Adi Kailash, is standing tall at an elevation of 6191m in the Dharchula district. It is quite known for its strong religious and adventure connect, also, it is believed that the mountain has a miraculous nature. One thing, which makes this mountain look apart from other Himalayan ranges is its Om shape, which is formed by the deposition of snow on the black mountain.

We conduct outdoor activities on Sundays (the rest day), for our students to enjoy. They include seeing the sunrise at one of the regions oldest temples, visiting the Vashist meditation cave and seeing the Ganga aarti (ceremony by the banks of the holy river in Rishikesh). As a results students enjoy a well rounded experience in India and taste the diverse culture here in Rishikesh
Requirements for Yoga Teacher Training
Prior experience of Yoga is recommended, but is not a necessity. The Yoga teacher training (YTT) certification will require a base level of fitness. However, what is truly important, is that students come to Rishikesh with an open heart and a willingness to embrace the teachings of Yoga.
Students, no matter what their experience in the practice of Yoga, should come as exactly that; students. One must come with an empty cup ready to be filled. We want to provide an environment that is warm, free from judgement, and conducive to learning. Wisdom and love can only truly flow once this has been established.

What to Expect From Our Yoga Retreat
We really want you to have a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable experience with us in Rishikesh. The asana classes will be taught in the traditional Hatha style, with a strong focus on safe alignment and modern western views of correct bio-mechanics, ensuring your safety and physical wellbeing. But Yoga is about so much more than asanas. The physical is the way we enter deep within.
Rishikesh is a serene and holy place. You will be staying by the holiest river on earth and surrounded by majestic mountains. It truly is a special town. On top of asana classes you will also experience meditation and pranayama classes, where we look to shut off our external senses and listen to our inner self, free from the shackles of fluctuating thoughts.
